The book "The Pigman" is a really good book. I am very interested in it. So far in the book they were explaining how Lorraine and John had a confersation about how the pigman died. they were saying that they didnt murder him, that he would have died anyways, that maybe they speeded things up a little. Of course that was john who made that coment! Overall the book is great. It is sort of like a mystery and i love mystery books, and now i cant wait till the end!
The book sounds interesting, I liked when you said, "that he would of died anyways". That quote keeps me thinking, and I hope I get the chance to read it!
I think the pigman had died because of the prank call. They really dont say the reason why he did died. the pigman is dead but im not sure if lorranie and john said something that made him commit suiside or something around that area.
The book pigman is mainly about Jhon and lorraine and how they love to play jokes and tricks on people.One day they played a trick on Mr.pignati A.K.A pigman who is very lonley and very old.Sometimes this book is very confusing because sometimes Jhon is telling the story or sometimes Lorraine is telling it.
Im very confused about the pigman.Is really a pigman. What are some of the ways he acts? The way he acts is it because he was lonely? What kind of trick did they play on Mr.Pignati? Jhon and Lorraine are main characters with the pigman?
Jhon and Lourraine play a prank on Mr.Pignati by calling him and making up a name for their company and the reason that they were calling so they had made up a reason which, a some charity they had made up and, they had asked him if he was willing to donate some money, and he accpeted what they were asking for and, he had said he would give them ten dollars and he invited then to come over his house to recieve the money that he had offered.
Kassie, I think he kind of acts lonely because, of the way he treats Lorraine and John later in the book which is by showering them in gifts and, by giving them all of his close attenition.
The Pigman is not dead yet. Right now they are tellintg the story before he was dead. In the book it seems like they are telling the ending instead of the beigining.
i think that the most part in the chapter that i had read was that john said that he went to the zoo with Mr.pigman and he got a lot of different types of food like cotton candy on a stick peanuts and a lot more different kind of good food they were thinking that pigman was not dangerous crazy but not dangerous, the next day they were going to go to pigman house but they did not want to tell there friends where they were going so then they made a lie and just hung out with there friends. I dont think that pigman is dead because they are talking about how he is taking them places but is is vary confusing at some times.
I agree that this book can be a little confusing because when I go to sit down to read it at home some parts can get confusing but when we talk about ever chapter or ever two chapters i've found that it helps a little because, it shows different points of views of what other people had comprehnded when they are reading it. I've also notice as well, is that there are different people telling there own sides in first person in this book, that's what also, through me off is that sometimes I couldn't figure out who was telling it.

I am bloging to say one important quote that suprised me was when it sayed thathe better make sure that u scrube the kitchen floor today because john parents was going out and did not make enything to eat so they tould him to make his self something to eatand when he finish to scrube the kichten floor
One quote I found as I was reading chapter is:"Death is coming,she kept on reapting." This quote hit me because it really shocked me and suprised me because i have been like savering this event to happen because there has been talk about it but, it never accured to happen. So I predict that it is going to happen in the next chapters or the next chapter after chapter 8.
I was aghast that in the first page of the chapter John whispered that The Pigmans wife was dead. Because he found her funeral card explaining the cost of it.

But to come to find out that that wasn’t true, because John and Lorraine’s visits had became increasingly frequent, and during one of their visit’s, they had discovered of the documents that show that Mr. Pignati's wife, Conchetta, is dead, not just on vacation as he had previously told them earlier in the book.

I had finally finished the book “The Pigman” and I finally found out what my quote had meant “ Death is coming, she kept on repeating,” was my quote and it meant that Mr.Pignati’s death was accruing later on in the book.
After reading the book I had realized, that John and Lorraine had been changing more and more to responsible caring and, respectful people. Some reasons that I think that John and, Lorraine had changed because when Mr.Pignati was recovering in the hospital from his heart attack John and Lorraine had stayed at his house to watch his house and keep it safe. Before, Mr.Pignati got home they had through a party when he gets back for him as a surprise and they had only invited two people. But, those two people had kept on invited people and the people that they had invited, had invited more and more people. Then, it became a mess and, this one kid for some reason had got really mad so he went into the room full of glass pigs and he smashed them all. So, they had called the cops and they came and as well as Mr.Pignati and he was mad of what John and, Lorraine had caused and all the kids were sent home and they had been punished. After all that compotation had been settled they had asked Mr.Pignati to help him cleanup to make up for what they had done and he said “no.”
John and Lorraine's visits become increasingly frequent, and during one such visit,like I had said.So John and Lorraine would visit him every day after school, and he would shower them with gifts, food, and most importantly, the love and attention they do not receive in their own joyless homes. Later, on in the book Mr. Pignati suffers a heart attack while he and the teens are playing tag with roller skates, and he's sent to the hospital.So, John and Lorraine agree to take care of his house while he recovers and, they were trying to through a welcome back home party. But, it doesn’t go as well as they had planned because,they had invited only two people but those to people had kept on inviting more and more people. Lorraine's friend rips one of Conchetta Pignati's dresses which are Mr.Pignati’s wife’s belongings and, Mr. Pignati's house and and Conchetta's collection of porcelain pigs, which Mr. Pignati holds very dear to him because it reminds him as his wife. They were smashed. John beats him up the boy up who smashed the porcelain pig collection.When, that Mr. Pignati returns to find his house he becomes emoitionly hurt when he finds out John and Lorraine were responsible for the incident. They had terrible, for what they had caused so the two of them offer ed to take him to the zoo to help make up for it. At the zoo, they discover that Bobo the baboon which, was Mr. Pignati's favorite animal and buddy, has died two weeks ago.To overcome with all the grief and the heaviness of the recent events, Mr. Pignati suffers in his own depression and dies.When John and Lorraine go to the zoo to meet Mr.Pignati and find out he was dead they called the ambulance to see if was dead and come to find that he really was, and that was bacically at the end of the book.
I think that the title of this book is appropriate for this book because, the book is called “The Pigman,” and one of the main characters Mr.Pignati’s wife Conchetta Pignati owns a collection of porcelain pigs and, those pigs have been really important and special to Mr.Pignati because they remind him of his wife, and I think they call the book “The Pigman,” because he is a man and he keeps the porcelain pigs in his house where they will in his sight. He has been keeping them in his possession ever since his wife passed that’s why I think they call him the “Pigman.”
in the book it was kinda confusing because in the book it started by saying that mr.pignatty wa dead and then went and started saying that they wood be hanging ut wth him going to the zoo.But the way that it started was by the kids praning him for money and him falling for it i love the book even though i was kinda confussed because the only way i was able to figger out abd stay on track with the book was because of my book clube members.
In the end of the book mr. pignatti ended up with a hart attack and the kids tould him that they were goingto watch the house for him and for him not to worry. They in vitedlike two people to come for mr.Pinatti welcome home party and those friends had called their friends an their friends called their friends and the welcome home party was distroyed they broke his pig vasses they ripe his wife dresses and they completly distroyed his house a cupple days latter mr .pignatti pet had died and it was his favorit pet in the world he was sad but also fariatted because of what happen to his house not that long later mr.pignatti had died and the kids found him on the floor and though that he was on conchence so when the police came they found out that he was dead.
