So far In the book The Outsiders, it has been very intense. For an example Ponyboy almost got jumped by the gang Socs But, the Greasers came and helped him out. Ponyboy is the youngest in the gang Greasers because his parents past away and his brother watches him and since his brother is in the gang he tags along with him.

To:Grant Nieves Ponboy does live with his brothers Darry and Sodapop and Darry is 20 and sodapop is 19. I think that ponyboy being in a gang isn't that bad, well I mean the Greasers aren't a bad gang, they aren't the ones looking for trouble.. its the Socs always starting something.So I think ponyboy being in the gang with his Brother(s)is actually good cause they all can stick up for him and be there since he's the youngest and so much has happened in his life with his parents passing away. - Deja

It doesn't really say why ponyboy is being jump, I think its cause he's with the greasers and the Socs don't really like the Greasers so they start trouble with them. The socs think they own everything and is better than everybody else and yes,Ponyboy is the main character.I do like this book because it's very interesting and suspenceful. So much is going on at once its hard to keep up with everything, but over all its a really great book.
I think the book so far is suspenceful, because Ponyboy and jonny are in a tight spot and they dont know how to get out of it. Also, since they run away how will soda, darry and the rest of the gang react.
i understanding from this book that its a war. they are alike yet sepperated by money and way of thoughts tobe honest its just like the real world friends go with those who are = to themself. if two people buy at the mall they most lickly to be friends because people are ignorent like that
I would like to add on to yours Nathan. I would say Ponyboy and Jonny are happy but worried at the same time. I say that they are happy because they are not in trouble or in the nonsense. They have to be worried because they don't know what's happening to their brothers. Also, I think that Darry and the rest of the gang are worried about Jonny and Ponyboy because they don"t know what is happening to Jonny and Ponyboy.
To:Grant Ponyboy lives with his older brother Darry. Ponyboy is about maybe 16,17. So far, I say that it's better for Ponyboy to be by himself because Ponyboy doesn't need all this drama in his life. Also, Ponyboy ran away with his brother, Jonny. So Ponyboy has to be safe.
They didn't have to leave, they chose to leave. we don't know where Jonny and Ponyboy are at yet. It's because Jonny kilt one of the Socs and he got ragged on. So he decided to leave and Ponyboy joined him.
I say that Jonny feels like his parents doesn't care about him because Jonny can stay out all night and his parents doesn't care to bother to check up on him or to call him to make sure he is ok. Also because Jonnys' dad paid Jonny a few bucks to stay out of the house the whole day and not to return untill the next day.
Ponyboy and Jonny were spoted by the Socs and a one of them were the ones who ragged Jonny. a fight broke out but this time Jonny killed one of them to save Ponyboys life who was getting drowned.
I think the book is changing a lot, because Jonny decided he wants to turn his self in. He said he feel guilty for what he did, and feels that Ponyboy is suffering from his actions. Also he thinks he wont get in trouble, because it was all self defense.
To: Geremy Deja Nathan Angel Wow reading all of the blogs im very shocked about this book! From reading geremy's blog jonny and ponyboy's parents dont care about them. Im confused because dejas blog says their parents past away. What really happend to their parents? Is their something that you learned about gangs in general? Nathan what do you think jonny is going to do and in the end how is gout to affect ponyboy? Angel what was going through your mind when they were drowning ponyboy? Why do they call him Pony boy and call Jonny well Jonny?
Did certain parts of the book make you uncomfortable? If so, why did you feel that way? Did this lead to a new understanding or awareness of some aspect of your life you might not have thought about before?
Geremy If you had to pick a favorite character who would iit be? Why would that character be your favorite? What are some actions that make you like that character?
Kassie, Ponyboys parents are dead but johnny's parents are not.and i think Johnny is not going to be sent to jail and everything will go back to normal between the greasers.also from what i read i think the socs are going to do something once again.
